Fistful of Kicks: Epic Anime Improv

Fistful of Kicks : Epic Anime Improv

Strap into your gratuitously over-sized robot suits because Fistful of Kicks is back with a brand-new ANIME improv comedy show. This month, we’re bringing all your favourite anime series featuring giant robots (yes, we know you have a list) to life through improv! We’ll create epic adventures in space, encounter wild and weird anime-ified characters, and, most importantly, make giant robots battle it out on stage for your entertainment. If you’re an anime fan, or you’ve never seen anime in your life, you’re going to have an awesome time at this show!

Featured in the 2018 Seattle Festival of Improv Theater, the 2018 Vancouver International Improv Festival, and the 2019 Austin Improvised Play Festival, Fistful of Kicks is one half comedy, one half epic storytelling, one half kick-assery, for three halves of amazing show that you won’t want to miss.

Featuring the improvising, fist-fighting, ultimate comedy stylings of Kai Rudell, Vivian Tang, Alex Ho, Brigitte May, Brent Hirose, Curt Da Silva, Carla Mah, Kenneth Tynan, Alyssa Hirose, and Aidan Parker!

Fight choreography by Nathania Bernabe and Jackie T. Hanlin of Affair of Honor.

Join us at Havana Vancouver before the show for Cuban food and drinks by reserving a table at www.havanavancouver.com. We recommend booking a minimum of 90 minutes prior to your performance to make sure you get great theatre seats and the best dining experience. Or join us after the show for drinks and dessert.
